I had HPV a few years ago. It's all cleared up now. I just got married. If I ever want to have children will I be able to having once had HPV? Are there any side effects I should be concerned about? Last pap I had I started bleeding from my scar from my HPV surgery. Will I loose too much blood when delivering a child?? I don't want to put myself or my child at risk.

You don't really give enough information to offer an opinion. What is "HPV surgery?" I'm guessing you had warts removed? From what part of your body? Your cervix? What method was used? Do you have dysplasia?
In any event, your doctor can best answer your questions as she or he knows your history and what your surgery has done to you.

My doc told me that HPV will NOT effect the chances of me getting pregnant. The only way it would is if I left the STD untreated or my cervix was not completley healed after my freezing on my cervix. I was also told that if I had to get half of my cervix cut off then when I got pregnant they would put a stich (it's called something, but don't remember the medical term) in the cervix so that it was support the baby.
Don't worry about this factor-especially since you have had HPV for 2 years now-check with your doc for more information referring to your specific case.
