Hi,
I was wondering if anyone could shed some light on my blood results. I have been ill for 10 years and after many years of being told they can't find anything they did some new blood tests on me.

The CRP level came back high (3 times the normal amount)..
IGM and IGE were raised (only slightly at this time however they go up and down but are never normal).

The IGA was normal at this time but has been raised in the past.

The blood test that finally got my dr's to pay an interest was Anti-TPO.
the norm is 0-15 mine is at 60 I have looked this up and it says it is usually related to thyroid but all my thyroid tests are normal so what does it hint at now?

Anyone else who has high anti-TPO I would really like to hear what you have been diagnosed with.

Thanks

Leanne

HI....TPO is thyroid antibodies, this is usually an auto immune thyroid disease. Do you have your thyroid labs? What do the numbers say?

They tld me mine were normal too, but they were not.

I am having them tested again this week so I will let you know. The thing is, I have so many neurological symptoms that all sound like MS...numbness, fatigue, vision probs etc but they say they are almost 100% sure it is not that. To add to my health probs I have now got endometriosis. What immune disorders can cause numbness (that is in other places than arms and legs) The dr's are baffled and say only MS can cause this sort of numbness.

Any ideas?

These could all be the thyroid, your thyroid regulates your entire body. I suggest you hop on over to the thyroid section here, it's great :)

My TPO was about five times the normal range. But the TSH was normal and TBG normal. I am loosing my hair and body hair like a shedding dog. And no one is helping me. My Ana was positive. Can this be Hashi's? Would that account for my hairloss. I am only 24 and the thought of being bald is the scariest thing in the world. Why aren't the docs concerned?
