Have Any Of You, At Any Stage, Fallen Very Ill For A Short Time. I've Spoken To Many People With Ms And Each And Every Person Has Been Very Ill At Somepoint. One Had Jaundice, One Bitten By A Dog, One With An Hiv Scare Etc..... I Believe It Is All Correlated And I've Spoken To A Few Doctors Who Agree As Well.

The theory of stress on your body is said to instigate the initial symptoms, but who really knows? There are a million theories about MS. I can say that about a month prior to my intial episode, I came down with a flu so bad that I was off work for 2 weeks, lost 15 pounds (wouldnt hear me complain about that, though! ;)) and no doctor could figure out what was up as all the tests they did only showed that my white count was high. Two weeks after the flu finally vacated my body (one month after it first appeared) my right side went numb. Weird how it all goes.
