hi... I own a hair steamer, which i bought years ago. The procedure i ve always used is: Shampoo hair, condition it w a deep conditioner, then sit under the hair steamer & finally wash out the conditioner. I ve never covered my hair w a cap or anything during the steaming process, but i recently read in a forum tt u should use one!! Thus, ve i been damaging my hair by exposing it to direct moist heat?? Do i realli need a cap?? What is the actual procedure for steaming hair????
