What is the maximum safe dose of diazepam? I was prescibed some 2mg tabs months back but I've lost the box. Anyone know? I've heard 10mg is the max but i don't know. I'm about to fly so I want to know how much I can take.

I've been taking diexapam for awhile now. I was prescribed 5mg, but sometimes I take 2 tabs(10mg) before a social event or if I'm under a lot of stress. Over a year ago, I was prescribed the 2mg dose and it had no effect on me at all. I would say up to 10mg is definatly safe.
