View Full Version : One-rooted wisdom teeth?

I got my wisdom teeth out about 2 and 1/2 months ago. They were giving me headaches and jawaches, pushing on the 2nd molars in front of them, though they were aimed vertically. They were fully impacted in bone, and I was pretty bruised for like 2 weeks afterward. I saw them after they pulled them.... they were single-rooted, and pretty small. I've heard wisdom teeth are usually fully developed by your early 20s. I'm 30 years old.. why did mine have only one root? The rest of my teeth are normal, though I had impacted canines I had to get exposed.

Any ideas? Am I just a slow developer of wisdom teeth? I only had 2, by the way... the uppers. Lowers missing.
