hi again,
i finally started my interferon tratment to cure my policythemia.
after on 1 week of treatment, my white cells and platlets cound is gone down 50%, almost at normal levels!!! at the moment i'm having an injection a day, but probably will need less.
thanks to the french health system, they pay 100% of the very expensive cure.
one question: interferon need to be keps between 2 and 8 degree celsus.
i wander how i will manage in the future, we normally travel for 2/3 months every winter, so i will need a way to transport the interferon and week it cold.
any suggestion?

I take interferon for MS and travel with it. Just a small insulated lunchbox with a coolpak works to keep it cold enough for most trips. On a cruise I asked for a refrigerator in my cabin ahead of time... Carnival Cruises accommodated me nicely.
