View Full Version : Green bms, gallbladder woes?

Hi folks,

I'm a celiac, and I finally broke down and started a gluten free diet (SCD).
I'm eating good foods, no junk, etc, but now, since starting this diet, I've gotten green bms, am very very constipated, have very hard stools, and no appetite cause it feels like I'm locked up when I eat. I have been having daily bms but it is hard to do. Also, I'm now very "parched" it feels like, and I have always had 64oz of water day, sigh. I have bloating, and lots of burping/gas. Bad galbladders run in my family, but I had a hida (?) scan a few months ago, and he said that everything was fine with my gb.

Anyone have any tips or advice for me? Thanks!

My grandmother and uncle used to have that problem. They got better when they started drinking non-fat milk twice a day and 2 potassium tablets in the morning (with breakfast) and then again with dinner.
They also took 2 calcium-magnesium tablets at lunch for two days at a time here and there.
