After I has a scaleing done, the hygienist gave me a sample of Sensodyne toothpaste...Well I just bought a tube and on the side of the box it says:
"WARNINGS
When useing this product do not use longer then 4 weeks unless recommended by a dentist or doctor"
Anyone have any idea why?

There is nothing wrong with using Sensodyne all the time - it won't hurt you. The big thing is GlaxoKline does not want you to use it INSEAD of seeking dental care, which you have already done. Similar warnings come on LOTS of things you buy at the drugstore. I know that Claritin has a similar warning, as well as antacids, but I have taken Claritin forever. Brush away, they are just covering their hinnies! ;) :D

I have used Sensodyne toothpaste for about 3 yrs now..I also noticed the warning and asked my dentist and he said it was fine to use it all the time..

My favorite suits are the ones over hot coffee burns - DUH coffee is hot (at least it SHOULD be!)
We unfortunately live in such a litigious society that EVERYONE spends there time just protecting their rears! People are just looking to blame someone else for every little thing...
