Hi,

For the past three days I've had a constant pain in my middle upper abdoment just above the navel. It is tender to touch but there is no rebound pain. It also hurts when I change position such as stand up or turn over in bed.

I have NOT had any of the following symptoms -

Nausea, vomiting, diarrrreah, fever....in fact eveything else feels just fine although for some time now (like a year or more) my wife has been complaining that my bowel movements have been a lot more stinky than they should be.

ANy ideas would be appreciated.

Thanks,

DG

It's alright. After an ultrsound it turns out I simply have a torn muscle above the belly which is bleeding - the result of too much coughing and sneezing during a recen t heavy cold....and perhaps one too many push ups.

Cheers,

DG
