My boyfriend was diagnosed with arthritis in the back. He has a lot of pain in his back that radiates down his right leg. The pain is sometimes tolerable, but sometimes it is really really bad. The taook an x-ray of his back last year and this year and said that it is spreading. Doea anyone know what that means long term (he's 60) and what we can do. His doctor said to exercise more, but it is hard for him to exercise when it really hurts. Does anyone else suffer from this who can give advice? Thanks
