Hi Everyone,

I have been reading your posts and noticed folic acid use is mentioned often. I have 16- 49% blockage in both my carotid arteries, my homocystine level was slightly elevated so my Dr.put me on Foltx. 2.5 mgs of folic acid, 25 mgs. vit. b-6 and cannot remenber the amount of b-12. Now I am reading that high doses of folic acid can cause heart attacks and strokes also cause your blood to thicken. This seems like a massive dose of folic acid to me, but really have no vitamin knowledge. Anyone have any info on Foltx or folic acid doseage?

Forgot to add, I take 81 mgs. of aspirin per day.
