:) I just had to tell you about an article I just read. this was an article in the washington post.
it was thought that fat was a passive tissue just there to provide energy. but now scienctists realize that fat is a very active tissue that controls alot of functions in the body. :bouncing:
example fat coordinates how and when and where the body's energy supply is stored and how and when it is moblized. it emits signals that can damp down the immune system or activate it, it coordinates how much we eat and how much energy we burn, how we reproduce etc.
