At times, I really hate being part Italian!! Let me explain...

Everytime that I shave my legs, I have these little black dots that look like hair under the surface of my skin, but my legs are smooth (for about 10 hours...). I tried Nair and other depilatories, but I have such sensitive skin that I break out every time and it takes me about a week before I can shave again without pain.

I never tried waxing, but I am still a little nervous about it. Anyone who has any ideas, PLEASE let me know! I am dying to get information on these annoying black "dots".

Waxing will do the trick- but you will need to let the hair grow to about 1/8" before you can get it done, it will remove the hair from the root- which is what you are seeing after you shave.

Yep, the black dots are simply the hair that is left under the skin.

Will laser hair removal do the job? I thought this was a condition that I'd have to live with for the rest of my life. It's so depressing watching woman with smooth, hairless legs and then looking at mine with the unpleasant black spots. So waxing is the only answer huh?

Laser or electrolysis will get rid of the hair and spots.
