I have been getting pains, severe bloating, constipation, and sometimes the runs. I gave tried everything including, fiber, laxatives, gi test, drinking lots of water, and more. I work out 3-5 times a week and am lean all over my body except for the distention in my stoumach. There are times during the day were I look pregnant and my weight can flucuate 5-10 pounds. I am going to see an allergist next week, maybe it is a food ingreadiant or someting. My mother found a old doctors report from 1990 that said I have a " C1 Esterase Inhibitor Deficiency" and my levels were 8MG. Normal is 12 -25. I found some information in the internet in regard to this and it sais this could cause some of the symtoms I am having. Has anybody heard of this? Any input on this and my stoumach problems would be much appreciated.
Thank you.
Thank you.

David,
It sound like you have a Candida/ yeast infection that has gotten the friendly intestinal bacteria out of balance.
You can eat yogurt several times daily and take a probiotic supplement twice daily on an empty stomach to help re-balance the friendly bacteria. This usually does not contribute to any weight gain just alot of gas and bloating and BM problems.
This problem can happen for a number of reasons-- including a round of antibiotics, too salty food, too sugary food, spicey food and even alcohol.
A trigger food that you may be intolerant to can cause the same thing. I knew a girl that was intolerant to peanuts and Tyson's chicken breasts -- they made her gain water weight but not bloating. You may have to go on a rotation diet to ID the food and keep a very accurate log of everything that you eat or drink.
I wish you well---Harry
