I recently got a CBC test with liver and kidney functions done and the results came back "great" according to my doctor. I know the only way to diagnose lymphoma is through biopsy, but what are the odds I have lymphoma with a normal CBC? The doctor seemed pleased with the test results, but some web sites I've checked out seemed to indicate that the test is more to rule out infection, and lymphoma is still very possible. Should I be relieved?.....Also, does anyone know what the link is between swollen nodes and TMJ? Thanks as always for the insight....

Blood Counts may or may not be off in early stages of Lymphoma or any other cancer. TMJ will cause inflammation which will cause lymph nodes to swell. The inflammation will produce a body reaction that will draw fluids and other lymphocytic action to try to heal the irritation. If your concerns continue, see an ENT doc. This doc will be able to help you sort things out.

Thanks as always Marimac, for your insight. You're quite good at putting things in perspective. At this point I'm trying not to touch the nodes and waiting to see an ENT. I'm just trying to gain as much info as possible beforehand.
