Any help or advise you can give to me or my family would be greatly appreciated.

Approximately 3 months ago, I began having feelings of nausea and general body aches.

Three weeks ago I was sitting at my office at work and began to have dizzy feelings, and began to have a sort of out of body experience. During the episode, my speech became slow. I think because of the systems I experienced some type of panic attack.

I was pretty much out of it for approximately 3 hours.

In the proceeding three weeks, I have had four similar episodes and have been in the ER four times.

Once again the symptoms are:

1) Dizziness
2) Fatigue (I cannot move my legs)
3) Tingling in the extremities
4) Slow speech ( I have a hard time finding my words)
5) Numbing in the side of my face

I had an MRI which showed some brain lesions, but the neoroligists ruled out MS without any tests (which surprised an ENT Dr. which I have seen). The MRI did show that I possibly have a blood vessel resting on the 7th and 8th nerves.

When I am not having major episodes, I have had some smaller ones. For example I was at an ENT Dr. Friday and was talking with my wife normally. The next minute, I was dizzy in the chair and having a hard time finding my words.

I am going for a balance test on Tuesday, because they think it might be a viral infection. I have also noticed my bottom number on my blood pressure has ranged from 49 to 86. I have also noticed that when I drink salt water, it seems to stop major episodes.

Any help that can be provided would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Donman,
Sounds like you have alot to deal with, the first thing I would suggest is to relax and think positive.I am going in the 28th to be tested for MS,,but have related symptoms as you do,,do your research,,and be sure to tell your doc all thats going on,write it down if you have to.,,and get second opinions!! Seems your episodes are short lived, even tho I know they can be frightening. The episodes I have last a month or more.I do believe low pressure will make you dizzy as will high.Wish there were some magic word to make it better,,just know love and prayers are being sent your way.Good luck and keep us posted.
