Okay I am a teen and I have been dieting since January, eating healthier ( trying too) but lately I have been "slipping" and eating unhealthy. Ive lost 30 pounds. My biggest problem is excercising. I cant get motivated. NOTHING makes me want to excercise and I mean nothing. Also I have nothing but an excercise bike and I try to do it everynight but get sick of it and just dont feel like it and if I am watching television I just dont feel like getting off my lazy bum and doing anything. Also I do drink 72 oz. of water a day, but I HATE it. I have to force myself to drink it. The biggest problem is the taste. I hate the taste of the chlorine and the other chemical. I have to "gulp" down my water to evenn get it down and then after that I feel like throwing up. So if there is any suggestions they are appreciated.

If you are tasting the chemicals and chlorine, you need a water filter. I like PUR...hook it right up to your sink...it's easy and not expensive. Spring water is good too but inconvienient. Then try a lemon wedge in your glass of water. Or lime. Lots of ice helps too.

Before I lost weight, I used to really hate water. I couldn't stand the taste, how flat it was, or how it felt in my stomach.

Now it's hard for me to drink anything else. I love water, and nothing refreshes like it. Definitely get purified or distilled water--you shouldn't taste chemicals. I know you said you have trouble exercising, but exercise was the greatest factor in my liking water. When you work up a sweat and you're thirsty, there is *nothing* that can equal a cool glass of water. If you cut out all other drinks (especially carbonated drinks), then there's a chance you can grow to love it too. If it helps, I'd avoid drinking water on an empty stomach...it can give you a kind of sloshy wet feeling.

These contain asparatame, that stuff will kill you. I used to drink this stuff all the time and I kept getting nose bleeds. So I did a little research and found out what asparatame does. I quit drinking it and the nosebleeds stopped. I won't touch anything with asparatame. Just my 2 cents.

I can only drink my water ice cold. That helps mask the taste. But while I am at work, I drink Culligan's water.

Maybe you can think about getting a water filter or even asking your parents to invest in water delivery like Culligans or something.
