Hi, I'm an avid slim fast user and happened to look on the label of their peanut butter crunch snack bars and to my suprise, I seen partially hydrogenated oils. I think that means trans fats, doesn't it?

I am a really avid label reader.I must have read the label of every pkt of butter spread etc to find one for my family without hydrogenated oils. Now I discover slimfast is full of them. I,m starting to think that by losing a couple of stone on slimfast might actually be more harmful to me than if I remain at this weight yet eat healthily.
Slimfast is working for me but all i am eating is sugar, hydrogenated oils and a vitamin pill when you think about it. I was amazed by the energy it gave me. It wasn't energy maybe, just sugar rush.
Now I'm more confused than ever

I don't go in for those nutrition bars and things like that. I can eat a healthier snack with a peanut butter sandwich!

I loved those peanut butter crunch bars. I just noticed this and I'm so mad. I contacted them on their website and complained about it.

Good!
Maybe if more people do the same, we can eventually get everyone to STOP using hydrogenated oils in their foods. It's a totally unnecessary ingredient, they mostly just use it to add bulk to their products, saving them money. Or at least that's what I heard.
