Hello, Maybe/maybe not. First thing is to make sure you get some form of exercise in like at least walk during your break time. Next, I'd take out the stir fry broccoli for breakfast and change the ice-cream to 1-2 times per week and not every night.(Keep the strawberries and almonds.) I am assuming you are getting your complex carbs in the soup, so that's ok. You don't want to over do the simple carbs, so that's why I changed the ice-cream into a sort of treat thing instead of a daily staple.

I know how the diet craze (or shall I say thin craze world) I can see how you can be scared about eating to much and gaining weight, is it any wonder obesity is epidemic? with everyone so scared to eat or too scared to eat to satisfaction, it is any wonder people just don't explode or die from starvation.
but thank goodness teh body counteracts our undereating habits, (which inevitably leads to overeating but you sound like you are eating normally to me) otherwise we would die from undereating before we realize we are not eating enougH.
yes to your other point, in order to be artifically thin you have to stay hungry, it is true there are people who manage to keep slim by undereating and a ability to fight their bodies effort to get them to eat more so it can gain weight, much needed as far as the body is concerned. these people are termed anorexic or borderline anorexic or bulemic, (and you don't have to vomit to purge, some bulemics purge through excessive exercise to try and force the body to use the fuel up instead of storing as fat.
these must come up with all kinds of coping methods to keep from eating to satisfaction, because to eat to satisfaction for them (because of not eating enough in the past) their bodies do ask for more fuel then necessary for immediate needs, what people fail to realize the body is also preparing for future needs too based on past experiences.
but most people fail to grasp it even when it is explained to them, (believe me I speak from experinece) and explained and explained, yet the dieting propaganda including the you have to control your food or you will be fat all your life is ingrained and hard to remove.
anyway please don't get on the dieting and fear of fat treadmill by worrying about if you are eating too much, my question would be are you eating enough? if you are eating enough (according to the body's interpretation not ourselves) then you will never gain fat.
if you do start to gain it is because you have triggored the thrifty gene expression by not eating enough in the past or having to junky of a diet.
if you try to force your body to get by on less because of fear of getting fat your body will rebel, it will rebel against anything that is a survival threat whether an immediate threat or long term threat.
not unless your body's survival instincts are not strong, then you can go hungry and force the body to use up fat/muscle without it rebelling, but these people are rare.

From just glancing at this (and not knowing your BMR) it seems like you are not eating enough carbs and perhaps a bit high in protein relative to your total calories. I think I mentioned this to you in another post. Are you on an Atkins-type diet? Green vegetables are wonderful, but you should not be afraid to eat whole grains and starches - they are higher in fiber and really very good for you. Sure, green veggies have fiber, but not as much as grains and starches. Most people don't realize that lettuce has very little fiber.
I also think its better to eat more than 3 meals per day - eating 5 meals per day or at least a snack every 3 hours helps strengthen the metabolism and helps prevent you from overeating or feeling the need to binge. Eating smaller meals, more often, is also gentler on your body, providing a steady level of nutrients as you need them throughout the day.
Just curious - what exactly is IN fat-free, sugar free ice cream? It sounds like its either frozen skim milk or LOADED with chemicals!

Haha...I'm not really sure what is in Nonfat, no sugar added ice cream...you're guess is as good as mine. And I'm sure you're right about the chemicals. I'm not going to make that a regular part of my diet. I don't like the thought of eating unnatural things like that too often.
Yes, I guess I'm sort of watching my carbs and not eating any bread or rice. I eat fruit (mainly berries and cherries) but never really bread and only rice when it I go out for sushi.
I try and exercise every or every other day either by swimming, running, walking, or doing the eliptical. I get bored easily so I switch it up. Right now I weigh 147 and I'm trying to get down to 140. It's so close, yet so far! I really like you all rating my day so I'm going to post what I ate today again so I can get more feedback. Thank you so much!
Breakfast:
1 c. Cottage cheese
Egg beaters
Coffee
Lunch:
Small portion of ginger chicken (at a japanese restaurant)
tuna and salmon sashimi
miso soup
Snack:
Low Carb Crunch bar
2 slices turkey
small portion cottage cheese
Dinner:
Steamed vegetables with reduced fat cheddar cheese
2 slices turkey
some edamame
Dessert:
Coffee Bean vanilla NF latte
Bowl of cherries
