I've recently been diagnosed with a mildly enlarged spleen. I've recently had another CT scan 2 months after this diagnosis. The doctor said that there was no change in the CT scan. He is referring me to an oncologist just to be sure. I do not have sweating at night, itching, swelling in legs, etc. I've had pain in mt right lower quadrant. I've had a colonoscopy, etc. nothing ! I do have a swollen lymph node on my neck. It is pretty big. I have had this for years and previous doctors said not to worry about the lymph node. ANyone have an experience like this. I'm scared.

Hang in there until you have all the results. Sometimes there is just no real explanation for out of the ordinary findings. Hopefully this will be true for you. Don't worry about your lack of symptoms either! That is the best news of all with any possible Lymphoma. It means that if there is any problem it can be addressed more easily.

Steelman,
How come they never did a biopsy on the enlarged node on your neck?
I'm just curious as to why there were no alarms going off when they see that it's not going down?
Have they ever performed a ct scan on it or an MRI of it?
Hang in there.

Steelman2000,
I forgot to mention a fabulous website just for the different types of lymphoma. It gives you full descriptions and will teach you alot. If you're interested that is.
the address is: Lymphoma.org
Good Luck.
