found out it was most likely due to spine problems??? I have been seeing a neurologist for about 1 1/2 years, and long story short I recently started the cervical epidurals (due to mri results) I have bulges, bone spurs, etc. narowing of some areas too. I mentioned to the neuro/pain mgmnt.doc that I have been having balance problems, and cognitive changes. I have had close calls with falling, bumping into people, my knees also give out on me with a burining pain at the same time (in knees) luckily I was in my kitchen and was able to hold on to the counter to not fall onto a hard tile floor. He basically said lets get these "series of epidurals" (3) finished before we do or check any thing else. I felt like he was not taking my change in symptoms seriously. I thought he was going to laugh when I asked if a cane would be a wise move, and he looked at me like "you must be kidding" if I do fall, and injur myself I wonder what he will say then??? Any suggestions here? I really like my Doctor, but now it's like my explanations to him are not what he needs to here at this time. Like I really enjoy loosing my balance and walking differrent!!! My son's don't understand, and my husband thinks I should get antoher opinion. Thanks for letting me vent.... any one relate here? thanks, Kathy
