I am 54 and the skin beneath my chin is beginning to sag. I've always had a bit of a double chin. What is the simplest (hopefully non-surgical) solution to this problem? If surgery is required, can this area be tightened without a full face lift procedure. I'd very much appreciate any comments or experiences from other readers. Thank you.

If it's fatty tissue that's hanging underneath your chin, you may need lipo, which is what I had a few months ago with a chin implant. I love the results and it was done under local anasthesia. It's still surgery, but it's a simple procedure compared to some of the other types of plastic surgery. If you have hanging skin that's drooping b/c of age, you may need a neck lift where the skin is tightened.
