We came back from our "this is how you give the trigger shot" meeting with the nurse and I realized that if I don't get pregnant then the next cycle of clomid will interfere with our vacation, which was already post-poned once because I broke my arm. I'm so frustrated and I feel defeated before we have even started. I didn't realize that the clomid/shot would bring my period on early, I think if I had realized that we might have waited another month to start the clomid. I'm a little angry that the doctor didn't mention this, it seems like it might be important. Okay, now I know I am ranting. I just needed to vent.
Does your period tend to come earlier when there is no pregnancy?

Please don't feel bad for venting! I was upset too at the beginning of this month when I thought I would have to start my injections while I was at my in-laws! Turns out I didn't, but just the stress of "trying" to organize every piece of your life around this already outrageously in-depth treatment can make ya nuts! I know it doesn't seem like it now, but those things have a way of working out in the eleventh hour! Who knows, maybe you'll turn up pg before that! ;)

I also got the shot to bring on my period however it took me exactly 2 weeks to get mine. They say you get it in 1-2 weeks so maybe the timing will work out. Good luck and have a nice vacation! :wave:
