this is kinda embarrasing, but when I have gas and it, uh, escapes, it smells kinda suferic. Any ideas? I am not diabetic or even moderately close. I am in pretty good health aside from possible IBS.

Sponsor Harry 07-29-2004, 11:47 AM mel, During digestion the bacteria breaksdown foods it ferments and results in gas for some foods that sometimes does smell like sulfur. I don't think there is anything wrong with the digestion process when this happens. But,your system may not put out enough of the right kind of enzymes for all kinds of food you eat. Taking a digestive enzyme will help if you are really concerned. mel1977 07-29-2004, 06:31 PM thank you-I just may have to do that! |
