Hello all,
I have a quick question. It will be 2-3 weeks before I can get in to see my OB so I wanted some input here from anyone who may know something about HPV.
I have noticed some VERY small, kinda reddish, kinda not reddish bumps down near where my inner thigh (kinda where it closes when you close your legs if that makes any sense?) near my vagina, but not ON my vagina or IN my vagina, I have checked thoroughly. LOL However, the bumps don't look like ingrown hairs nor do they look like califlower. They are just there, there are about 4 of them. I noticed them a month ago and they haven't gotten bigger or spread at all. They are just sitting there, annoying the ever living crap out of me. lol
Does anyone who has HPV or warts get warts on the outer part of your vaginal area? Not even on your vagina, but the "area", even closer to your thighs?? I will admit I've been sexually active and I have mostly used protection but not always. So I am a bit scared. The bumps don't itch or anything of the sort. Right now all they do is annoy me.
Any wisdom on this would be so appreciated. THANK YOU!!!!!!!

I don't know, but if you have been sexually active and have had unprotected sex, in particular, you should consider having a doctor check them out and to also do a full STD screen. Note, too, that condoms only protect what they cover, and that is usually NOTHING for the woman. If he has a virus (HPV, HSV) on his thighs or scrotum, you are very much at risk.

The fact that they have been there for a month sounds a little suspicious. An ingrown hair or a pimple would just go away. They could be warts, but not necessarily. How's that for an answer? LOL Good luck at the doctor's!
