Hi Christine-

On other health boards, I have read posts from women who did conceive after multipe LEEPS, but after 2 LEEPS, many docs will send the patient on to a gyn-onc for further evaluation.

So, from what I have been reading, I do not think that 2 LEEPS would undermine your chance of becoming pregnant but certainly express your concerns to your doctor.

Hi. My doc is holding off my second LEEP so I may have another child. HE told me that having a child after two LEEPS will make it harder to carry a child full term, I i could carry one at all. Hope this helps.

As long as you give yourself and your cervix enough time to heal, there really is not a problem. If there is, your dr will insert a cerclage, a stitch, into your cervix to ensure a normal & healthy pregnancy.

I had 2 Leep & countless colposcopies after the birth of my first child & was a bit worried about conceiving my second child but after getting the go ahead from my gyno I fell pregnant straight away.I had no problems with my pregnancy & had a c-section delivery( but that had nothing to do with my procedures in the past ).The only thing was at my last coploscopy my doc had to cut the scar tissue on my cervix to get the swab in(ouch....).He did say that had i given birth naturally this wouldnt have been a problem..Now after another clear smear i'm considering a third...Fingers crossed.

I have the same question. I often wonder if I will be bed ridden my last month of pregnancy. I know their is somthing the doctor can do to prevent the cervix from opening, and then they cut the "stitch" right before you have the baby. It does not sound very pleasing.
