Can anyone give me an average of what I would have to pay for this? I really want more babies and can't get pregnant without IVF. An estimate is fine! Thanks to all who read and respond! Take care!

Thanks to all who read and respond! Take care! Sponsor Ninatchka22 07-30-2004, 10:01 AM The range is around $7500-$10,000 and up, but that might depend where you live. I'm in L.A. and everything is expensive. Also, check your insurance because sometimes they will cover part of it. Our insurance covers IVF as long as you have tried every other option to conceive, or if your doctor writes a letter of medical necessity. Good luck!! Baby dust... Nina normorcrazy 07-30-2004, 12:34 PM Thank you so much!!!!!!!!! cindyn 07-30-2004, 09:16 PM Mine was $8k without the meds. The meds were an additional $3500. Luckily ours was covered under insurance. Wishing you all the best. :) serendipity1984 08-11-2004, 03:13 PM Have you tried IUI (also called artifical insemination)? It's substantially cheaper (still pricey) and may have potential depending on what your infertility problem is. You can also find IVF price estimates by surfing the web. Good luck! barton93 08-11-2004, 07:42 PM 2 of my relatives had IVF done and the cost was around $15,000. We live in Chicago (which costs an arm and a leg) but it could be cheaper depending on where you live. Both of my relatives had theirs covered by insurance. You should check out that option if you have insurance. |
