Has anyone ever been prescribed Tobradex eye drops for use in the ears? The pharmacist seems to think it is okay to use, however, I haven't found any info. on this drop that says that it can safely be used in the ears. I have a perforated eardrum and don't want to use anything that could be harmful. Please let me know if you've used these drops in your ears or know whether they're safe for ears (perforated eardrum ear).

Thanks,
Erin

My doctor frequently prescribes this for use in my 7 year olds ears, he has bilateral tubes. It has worked wonderfully! I too asked the pharmacist the first time, I assure you it is perfectly safe and works well. Good Luck!
