Hi all, I'm short-sighted but it only started about 2 years ago when i was 22. I'm now 24 and thoroughly bummed about it. I have glasses but i never wear them because i feel a bit embarrassed (i know it's dumb). I'm seriously considering forking out the big bucks for laser surgery but I've heard you have to be about 30 to make it worth it, because your eyesight can change before then. I heard if you have it done at my age (24) then it could be a waste because your eyes may go bad again in a few years.... Has anyone heard of this? I'm so sick of being blind.
