My wife and I plan to begin our attempts at pregnancy in two weeks, as she will be entering the proper phase of her cycle (she has been charting for more than two years).

I have a few questions. First, how long should I abstain from ejaculation prior to each attempt? Also, how many days should we wait between attempts (one or two- I have heard arguments both ways). Also, I heard something that seems a little odd but kind of makes sense. Someone told me to stop thrusting at the onset of ejaculation and to allow ejaculation to occur without thrusting. This person indicated that more semen should reach deeper inside of my wife's vagina if I do this, thus increasing her odds of pregnancy.

Just do what feels right to you. If there arent any known issues of low sperm count for you then having sex every day isnt going to hurt. You dont have to hold off ejaculating before you actually start ttc,matter of fact it is best to make sure you dont hold off.
