This is gonna sound dumb I'm sure, I post all over these boards Think I have everything..lol
My question is this, How do I know it's allergies. I get this nasty junk that builds up (gross I know) behind my nose sort of in the soft place back of the roof of mouth. it's always clear. the inside of my nose is kind of swollen, redish, when I get up in the morning I have to blow my nose like mad. then it gets really dry. I don't get the itchy eyes. I only sneeze when I smell cleaning products. when I swallow my ears pop. well, if anyone thinks these are allergies, please let me know.
thanks

Allergies cause inflammation of the sinus tissue, and something called "rhinitis". If they get bad enough they can cause a blockage, and infections can develop.

The signs of an infection include discolored mucus (dark yellow or green), pain between the eyes and headaches. There can also be dizziness.

The best way to get this under control, is through irrigation and immunotherapy. Allergy meds don't do much for me, although I do take Singulair.

I've been having good luck with Sinus Buster the last couple of days, but it is still early.

I get the ear popping all the time. I suspect that my Eustachian Tubes may not function 100% properly.

Go to an ENT and get checked out.
