Please anyone out there who can give me some info. I have had a dull headache, that seems to start form my right ear and below to my neck. I have had 2 CT Scans and MRI of the brain. Thank God that is ok. BUT...I have this dull ache in the ear and down the neck, and sometimes a whooshing sound like running water. If I tap on and around the area of the ear, it sounds like it echos inside????? I get (sometimes) dizzy, not spinning, just a bit off balance. Doctor has checked in the ears, sees nothing... Should I see ENT?
What and how do they find out if the inner ear is not working correctly, or if there is a blockage in the tube? PLEASE anyone with any heplful info, would really be appreciated. I'll be waiting. Thank you all.

Silly question but do you have problems with onions? When your eyes water its like the noise and feeling in the eye nerves transmits to your ears and is all echoy and weird. If you have it you will know what I mean.

I have the symptoms you have but the doctors been no use. They gave me antihistamines to dry out my ears and I just felt out of it all the time. Some friends had the same problem that seemed to come and go very quickly. Mines been here for two years and in the cold weather I got awful ear ache. My teeth also feel almost achey most the time.
