I am looking for something to help me tell when I am ovulating. I have read a lot of you say things about the saliva ovulation tests. I was wondering if someone could go a little more indepth about what it is to use them. Like I really don't have a clue as to even approximately when I ovulate. So like can you use them like every couple of days for like months straight? You've said they are reuseable, are they reuseable for ever? Or do they only last a couple of months? I am just really anxious about concieving, the only problem I'm having is that I'm not regular at all. So I really want to look more indepth on the ovulation test.

Ok... here's what I know. I have used both the saliva & urine OPK's. I have used both for the past 2 months... just to make certain that one is telling the right information. Last month I received a positive from both on the same day! WOW. I was surprised, but VERY happy. My own personal thoughts are that I will use both kits for 3 months so that I am certain the saliva one is accurate.
The saliva one can be used over and over - you just have to make certain you clean it good (using a cotton swab & water). You can use it for as many days - months or whatever. I started using the saliva one on day 6 (I wasn't sure when I was o'ing either! My doc told me ovulation for me was around day 9-10, I wasn't convinced, so I used it for more than neccessary to be certain.). I used it from day 6 until when it gave me a postive result. Even at that, I used it for the following 2-3 days just to make certain I had hit peak day.
It is worth the investment - at least I think so. Good luck to you!
