Has anyone else had a reddish pink rash show up after they're diagnoised with RA? I have a place below my armpit under my arm that is about the size of my palm that ranges from deep red to a light pink. My reg dr said it looked like a reaction to my deodorant so I changed that and nothing happened. When my Rhu dr put me on MTX it shrunk in size and for the most part stays pink except when I have a flare up and turns deep red again. It doesn't hurt, itch or swell, it's flat and even with my skin. He says he's never seen anything like it. He does check the noddules that have grown on my elboes that I haven't seen mentioned on this board at all either. They rise like a big pimple or a boil and are very painful, then then goe down a little and become hard, my elboes are bothe ugly and deformed because of them and I no longer wear short sleeved shirts that don't cover them. Anyone else have either of these? I've had RA since 1998 and OA since 2000.

Usually Lupus has a rash associtated with it and it is butterfly shaped, not sure about RA. Could be a reaction to deodorant though, my husband can't use anti-persperant as it gives him terrible bright red rashes so he has to use deodorant instead.
