I first started the herbs (pregnancy potion) 1 week before ovulation and I will continue this month again (I got AF on Friday). If anything the herbs gave me great cervical mucus for 2 days. I'm happy about that at least. Hubby and I have been trying for 1 yr and 7 months. I took clomid for 3 months and didn't work for me. Good luck and lots of prayers to all ttc.

sspencervip good luck with the "pregnancy potion". I started the herbs about 2-3 days into my cycle and took them until I ovulated and I got my BFP!!!
Hopefully the "potion" can work for you and everybody else trying it.

:) Good Luck!!

I'm glad the herbs helped you. Which herbs did you take? Yesterday I was thinking about herbs and acupuncture. Has anybody tried acupuncture? They say it helps, treats infertility without pills, shots. I don't want to take the pills or something else, I just wanna get pregnant naturally.
Yesterday I started applying natural progesterone cream and today my bbt is 98,4. It's been 97,7 or 97,8 since i ovulated.
I'm still taking multi-vitamin with 80 mg of vitamin B6.
Could you please tell me which herbs did you take?

Thanks
Have a happy full-term pregnancy

I'm just concerned about the side effects of the pills, shots even herbs.
It's not recommended to use Dong Quai during pregnancy or for women with excessive menstrual flow , diabetics should avoid angelica or Dong quai, as it can push the blood sugar level up very high.
It is not recommended for people taking blood-thinning agents
Do not exceed recommended dose, large doses can affect blood pressure, heart action, and respiration.
Can react with sunlight to cause a rash or severe sunburn.

Have you tried a fertility tea?
Ingredients: Damiana leaves, Siberian Ginseng root, Saw Palmetto berries, Sarsaparilla root, Buckthorn bark.
I bought it online yesterday. I'll be taking it when i get it next week.
This blend for men and women contains herbs that may help with infertility, impotence and other hormone conditions. This tea treats symptoms and helps the underlying problem. Always ask your doctor before taking any herbs, especially if you are pregnant or lactating.

I really want to try natural way, herbs and acupuncture. I'm concerned about the side effects of herbs but I'll give it a try.

I can't be 100% sure that I go pregnant from the potion, but it was the only thing that I did different that month from any other month and I got pregnant so I will probably always credit my conception to those herbs. I stopped taking the herbs as soon as I ovulated because they are dangerous to take during pregnancy. I also just followed the dosage on the bottle. Good Luck to all you ladies trying this potion I hope it works for you!!

I had no side affects from taking the herbs. It seemed like I was always taking them but other than that I had no problems what so ever. Good Luck, and keep us posted.

Brooklynn

How is your pregnancy going? i hope it goes well. Brooklynn you said you took Clomid first 3 months and didn't help. Why did you take Clomid? Did you have LPD ? or what? What was the reason for taking Clomid? Did you have biopsy done? Did you tell your gyn about taking herbs and what did the doctor tell you about that? Did they approve it? I mean your RE an gyn , how did they react to that? Sorry for bothering you with my questions, but I'm just curious and would like to try the herbs too. Have you had your u/c, how is the baby doing?

Thanks
Have healthy 9 months

sallyko- you must have me confused with someone because I have never taken clomid. I was only TTC for about 8 months. My doc. at first told me he would to test at 6months if I didn't conceive but then changed it to a year. So I actually never had any test done. My pregnancy is going good I have been sick alot and am very tired. I go for my first ultrasound this wednesday and I am kind of nervous. After reading the post on these boards I realize how much can go wrong. As far as a doctor agreeing that you should try the herbs they are probably going to tell you no. The reason is that herbs have no actual conclusive evidence that they work to help you get pregnant. You should do searches on the internet about each of those herbs and then decide if you feel you should take them. If you are allergic to bees you should not take the Royal Jelly. Well keep me informed on your decision and good luck TTC.

Hi ya...I've been taking Clomid since May (50 mg, then up to 100mg in June through Aug). I have also recently started taking the Dong Quai and various other things that my accupuncturist prescribed. My RE is "neutral" on the topic. I decided why not? I just had my first IUI on Sunday (yesterday). Am now WAITING. Have prometrium to start tomorrow. As far as my history, there is nothing "wrong" with me...just old (37). Though I don't feel it! Trying to remain calm and not obsess, but after 11 months of trying....it's hard not to. I'll keep you posted.

Sorry Brooklynn. My little daughter keeps me so busy and never lets me concentrate on what i wanna do. She gets very jealous as soon as i start the computer. She says: "no computer. Mommy, please come on play with me ad read me my books". that's why I think it happened.
I wonder why did it happen to you, everything was ok as you said. I hope your doctor will find out that.
HeedPants are you saying you are on Clomid and taking herbs at the same time? Acupuncture is great, very helpful . So your re knows about herbs and is neutral?
Keep me posted about the results. I wish you BFP.
Ladies I've been so depressed today, I wanna get pg , i don't feel complete especially when i see families with lots of kids. My daughter needs a company. I'd be even glad to have twins even it's gonna be hard to take care of them.
I started doing Yoga, it's good for infertility. I just follow the video-tape by Denice Austin.
I couldn't make an appnt with the re my gyn reffered me to, he doesn't participate with the insurance we have. So I need to find some re tomorrow. Some of them are booked up till November, i can't wait, i need to talk to some re before August is over. The results of biopsy and my dh's semen analysis are not known yet, it takes up to 2 weeks they said.
So, gotta wait.
By the way I'm 37, I don't think I'm old, I don't feel like that, but i sure feel that it's getting late to conceive, that's what bothers me.

Ok, have a good day and good luck to all

Yes, I took herbs while taking clomid this month (and maybe last month as well...can't remember). With RE's that have long waits, call them every day and/or put your name on a list to call should anyone cancel. I find if you are pushy enough with Doctors they will eventually let you in! Good luck! I'll let you know whether this IUI round worked or not. Fingers crossed and lots of visualizations of fertilized eggs implanting! Oh and by the way, often times they prescribe clomid for unexplained infertility right off the bat. The idea being it puts you in over-drive (hopefully). Worked for me. I had three big old follicles. Just hope they were good quality eggs.
