I registered my husband Jim to your board in search of information anyone might have about Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. Lots of helpful information here, so first off - thanks!
He was recently diagnosed with CTS due to the pain/numbness/tingling in his arms and wrists. He also has severe pain in his shoulders, and in researching all the info I have on this condition, I have seen no complaint of shoulder pain from other patients. This concerns me as a series of xrays he had taken showed two bone spurs growing at C3 and C4 in his cervical spine, on the right side. As a former chiropractic assistant, my first thought would be the the shoulder/neck pain coupled with the arm and wrist pain could be attributed to the bone spurs moreso than CTS, but the doctor says the bone spurs are not of that great a concern, and that it IS the CTS causing the shoulder pain as well - I'm not so sure. Just wondering if any CTS sufferers out there experience the severe shoulder pain, most commonly at night as a condition of their CTS diagnosis.
Any info would be greatly appreciated.
