Hey everyone I need your help trying to figure out what is wrong with my son. My son has had elevated liver panels for over 2 years his GI doctor can not figure out why. He has already had one liver biopsy done about a year or year in a half ago. They told me there was not enough for a diagnosis. I did not know if they meant if there was not enough liver or not enough information in the computer to tell us a diagnosis.The one thing they did say is he had a little cirrohosis, but no liver damage. I ended up going to another doctor for another opinion. He was the top pedatric GI doctor but he found nothing too. Now my son's GI doctor wants to do another biopsy which is fine with me but I have a feeling they will find nothing again. Do any of you have a suggestion. I am thinking about looking into holistic doctors. My son acts fine he acts like nothing is wrong. But it scares me not to know. Now my son does have a rare blood disorder but the liver is suppose to have nothing to so with this. He has already had his gallbladder out. I am so confused I just thought someone might be able to help.
