Hi

I am new on here. It has been wonderful reading all the stories. My husband and I have been trying naturally for 2 years and started with a fertility specialist in March 2004. We have had two IUIs so far, but I know AF will start tomorrow. I took a HPT hoping it would tell me different, but I wasn't surprised.
How do people stay so positive? Each month feels like such a let down. In the clinic the other day one woman was telling me she had been going through fertility treatments for two years. Is this normal to try for two years?
Good luck to all the women on this board.

Hi there Marie  ! I think some people go off and on treatment plans. I have found A LOT of helpful info on these boards and everytime I see someone get pg, it does help boost confidence. Thank you for your well wishes and sending some right back at ya! :D

Hi Marie,
Did you do the IUI with Injecetables? and Induced Ovulation? Or did you do it on your own.

We did not need to use injectables. My problem is low progesterone. Apparently it is easy to fix, but we tried naturally for two months before going on to Clomed and IUI because nothing happened.

Hi Terri

How is it going? We will have our 3rd round of IUI next week. It is so frustrating at times. We have been told our problems are rather easy to fix, so I went in with a sense of security and thought this is going to be easy. Apparently I was wrong, howeve what keeps me going is all the support on here and DH has been very supportive.
Are you trying for another round of IUI? I said I couldn't inject myself, but now I am thinking otherwise because my husband wants this so much. Part of me would like to go and adopt. We just had friends return from China and they adopted a beautiful little gir. My husband is not there yet.

Good Luck and let me know how you are doing.
Marie.

Marie
You said your dh's sperm motility was low and doctor recommended some vitamins. Did the vitamins improve his sperm motility? You have low progesterone problem, what steps have you taken to treat it naturally before going on Clomid. Have you ever tried natural progesterone cream, fertility blend with Vitex in it?
Could you please tell me? My dh's sperm motility is low, sperm count is normal, i had biopsy done, i don't know the results yet. i think i have low progesterone too according to my bbt charts. If I do endo biopsy will indicate it for sure.

Good luck to you

Yes it did improve my husbands numbers. I did not try to fix the progesterone naturally. When all this started I really did not think about fixing it with creams etc. I did not even know it was an option. Thanks for the info, I will look into it a little further. The fertility specialist we are seeing has a high success rate and has been highly recommended, so we put all our faith in him.
Sending you good thoughts for your test results.
