A week ago, I had unprotected sex with somebody new, and now I am confused because about 10 pimple-like red bumps have appeared BUT ONLY UP WHERE MY PUBIC HAIR GROWS (its trimmed short) and I cant see anything funny going on on my penis itsself, so i'm confused because it's only where my pubic hair grows..., do i have something bad or what??

by the way I shaved my pubic hair a week ago, but i'm not convinced the bumps are because of that. they itch somewhat but not bad. im confused because nothing has shown up on my penis itsself just where the pubic hair grows. please help?

Someone else asked the same thing recently. Sounds like it could be folliculitis. "Folliculitis is the name given to a group of skin conditions in which there are inflamed hair follicles. The result is a tender red spot, often with a surface pustule. Folliculitis can be due to infection, occlusion, irritation and specific skin diseases."

If you look it up, you can find pictures and compare it to what you have.
