Hello....
I have been suffering from low back pain for almost 15 years now. I was told back then that I had a degenerate disk and nothing could be done until it became herniated and then I could have surgery. So I have lived with this pain as long as humanly possible. The last few years it has gradually became worse. I have been threw several therapies and pain meds, my back is scared from the use of heating pads and hot water bottles. I have also used ice and rotated both. Nothing seems to help. I am only 30 years old. Somedays it feels like I am 80. I can be doing laundry or loading the dish washer and my back gets to hurting so bad that I am down for a couple days because of the pain. I have had some x-rays taken. It shows that my lower vertabraes are fused together.
I have finally found a Doctor willing to run some tests. Rheumatologist, he has run a series of blood work and says that no arthritis is found. So the next step was to do a Full Body Scan, Again nothing found, So he finally sent me to do have an MRI done.
It showed that I have fluid built up in the Sacrum. Has anyone had this before or know anything at all? The secretary called me today and said she was calling me in a prescription for an anti-inflammatory. Starts with a B I haven't went to get it yet. Any insight that you could give to explain where and how the fluid gets there would help me to understand? I don't go back to the Dr. til November...UGGG Thanks
