Hi Michelle:
I would suggest seeing a GI specialist. i've had every test out there and all are negative. I have IBS with Constipation for over 3yrs. Bad bad stomach pains, bloating, I can urinate every 5 minutes sometimes. I get up sometimes 5x a night to urniate.
well, after having 2 colonoscopies...the first being fine then 2yrs later finding scar tissue/ hemmorhoids that weren't getting smaller I had them removed surgically and have been regular since. I had the surgery which was outpatient and easy (for me) July 30th 2004...good luck
Hope you start feeling better!! Stress can play a major role in our stomach's and gut. Has anything recently changed in your life that could cause your irregularity??

Hi there, actually came to this board to look for something when I saw your post. I have major stress and at times, anxiety. The way you just described it, sounds to me like that as well. I have had the same problems for years. Nothing in my body is regular anymore. You should probably see the doctor if you have a medical history to begin with, but urinating very frequently especially sounds to me like anxiety. Good luck!

Are you sure you are not suffering from Diverticulitis? This is the condition I have at the moment and will need an op soon. My symptoms are similar to yours. The specialist found out that the Diverticular disease had causede a Fistula bewteen my Sigmoid Colon and my bowel. In other words, there is a connection between the colon and the bladder and a small pasage way has developed. So I get minute amounts of body waste into the bladder - resulting in bladder infections that see me having to urinate regulalry. Getting up many times in the middle of the night etc, and then often only a few drops come out.
What you are describing could be attributable to several conditions, including the one I have described. Get yourself checked. Trust me, the checks they do are not painful, just uncomfortable perhaps. If they have to operate, then perhaps you can worry about pain isues.
