Ok... Well, you know when your vison is really bad, and the doctor says, "Ok, you're a -4.5" -- Well, I was just wondering how "negitive" you can get!?Because I'm really blind... Well, I'm not blind, but without my contacts, I see SOOO blurry! :(

Not sure, I'm almost a -9 in one eye(-7 in the other-uncorrected of course, corrected I'm perfect), but I saw someone on this board who was a -13, so I'm sure it could even be worse than that too.
I believe some contacts come in -20.

There is no limit to corrections for nearsightedness. -20 is not unheard of yet I fear that a prescription that strong would be uncomfortable.

I'm -8.5 in both eyes and each time I go to the eye doctor, I get worse! I hope this stops because if it doesn't, I'm gonna be BLIND when I'm older!
