I am a 27 year old female. I have had problems with my legs for the past couple of years. Mydoctor told me it was RLS (Restless Leg Syndrome) but recently, I started to have tingling in my hands, feet, and legs. For the past 3 weeks, my eyes have been going blurry off and on, to the point where I can hardly see. I went to the eye doctor 6 months ago and my eyes were perfect. A few people think I am over reacting, but does this sound like it could be MS? I would appreciate any response and thank you all kindly in advance.

Hi Ontario Mommy, welcome to the Boards! A fellow Canadian! I'm in BC.

Your symptoms do sound suspicious, but keep in mind that the symptoms that are linked with MS are similar to many other illnesses. Your best bet would be to see your GP and ask to be referred to a neurologist who will/should order an MRI and maybe other tests. Usually the MRI (I think, correct me if I'm wrong) is one of the first tests.

The vision problems could be ON (Optic Neuritus) but it could also be many other things. My bet is that others who frequent here can offer you some first hand info. :)

I just wanted to offer you a hello and be sure to let you know your welcome!

Remember, this is your health and if your doctor seems to be blowing you off, force him/her to take you seriously or see another Dr.! Be forcefull if need be, but don't let people tell you it's in your head!

Good luck! :)

I agree with Heather. It very well could be MS or something else entirely.Only your doctor knows for sure.

Thank-you so much. I have to find a new Dr, because mine is a complete ***, and I refuse to go back to him. But.... I will get a referral. Thanks
