:wave: Hi everyone. I am new to these boards and I just wanted to share a little bit about me.
My name is Terri 23 and hubby is Brad 25. He is in the Army and we are stationed in Georgia. we have been battleing unexplained infertility for almost 3 years now. we have had all the test practically that they can do and everything came back normal. I guess I was hoping that it would be something small that they could fix that at least we would know why I havent ever had a pregnancy. I was on clomid for 3 months and that didnt work. so I got referred to a RE this past april. the doctor wanted to start us on Follistim injections for super ovulation and we did the first cycle last month with no result ending in pregnancy (which practically broke my heart).
we arent able to do the IUI because military insurance wont cover the meds if insimination is gonna take place. they wont cover anything to do with it. which makes it hard cause being in the military we dont have tons of extra money to throw down for a complete cycle of IUI. The insurance wants it done naturally as possible meaning sex only. We are currently on our second month of follistim and almost time for the HCG shot. I have a doc appt sunday for another U/S and hopefully he will tell me I am ready to go.
I am very fortunate that if this month doesnt work my mom has agreed to help us out with paying for the IUI and us pay her back.that was a big relief to me. Sorry I didnt mean for this to turn into a book. LOL but thats my story so far.
