I have done sooo much reading I don't think I can find any more info that would clarify things for me any simpler(sp?). am looking for specific info on PA. Also, I want to know how PA is different from RA as far as long term effects/damage. I read that different types of arthritis need different treatments, but I know for PA and RA that the same types of drugs are used and it seems like they are really similar in symptoms. I know that OA destroys the cartilage, but I didn't know what kind of damage RA/PA causes exactly. If the synovial fluid is inflamed for a long period of time, does it hurt the bones/tissue??? I guess I just want to know what would happen if I just didn't take any medication at all(other than being in excrutiating pain!).. Over time, what exactly would happen to a body with psoriatic arthritis????
