This obsession I have with food is controlling my life. jacksinn 08-09-2004, 06:20 PM I used to think about food constantly and could not pass up donuts or whatever was in front of me. I mean I would eat and an hour later would be hungry and have to eat again. I finally stopped drinking sweetend drinks and no bread or pasta. Now I'm not hungry all the time and I can pass up the sweets easily. I lost 6 pounds in 2 weeks and I cant wait to loose much more. I did break down and eat some cheez-its one day.West Virginia Girl - I felt the same way totally OBSESSED WITH FOOD. Not anymore. Good luck finding something that works for you. She said to me just because you feel a little hungry doesnt mean you have to run and get somethiing to eat. I have successfully learned how to let myself be hungry and not run for something to eat right away. Try it! My husband tells me what would be the fun of living in a world where everyone looked the same with the perfect body and no one was different. He says this to try and make me feel better :rolleyes: But I don't care what everyone else thinks it's me on the inside that feels like I'm dieing. But I wonder sometimes if society wasn't so judgemental and we didn't see only skinny beautiful people on tv and ect all the time if we would even think about it. I dunno but we are all beautiful but it's within we have to feel good about ourseleves and I can't feel that way till I am satisifed with my apparence. |
