The same thing happened to me last summer and I was so freaked out. It turned out to be nothing though except that my pill wasn't strong enough to hold my period so the doctor had to switch me to something stronger.
Definitely make an appointment with your doctor. That way he can cover all the bases to make sure it isn't anything else more serious. He told me that all of that bleeding can be caused by a tampon that you forgot up there. Definitely make an appointment though.
Also, make sure you're getting enough iron since you're losing so much with all of that bleeding.

when was your last pap smear? these simple tests can save lives. I urge every woman I know to be diligent in taking care of their bodies. getting their routine pap and routine mammograms save lives.
there are multiple things that can cause your bleeding. the best thing to do is to see a gynocologist. anytime there's bleeding one should get it investigated. it could be something minor and it could be something serious. only your dr. can tell.

Could have possibly been pregnant? I had miscarred a while back (about 5 years ago) and I bled just like you said, I also started getting feverish as well though.
Deffinately check with your doctor. If anything seems abnormal with your body, you should always get it checked out.
Good luck :) *might just be the pill like someone said above :)*

sounds like your pill doesn't have a strong enough dose of hormones to stay up there. i've bled for 2 months at a time twice now. both times it was cuz I messed upw ith my pills & the first time I switched to a higher dose, originally for just a month, but I loved that pill more thant he original so I've stayed with it, the second time, I just needed to let myself get my period & not try to skip it & take my pills very consistently. a boost in hormones for amonth or so may just be what you need.
