Since I have dark hair, it's obvious that I have dark hairs all over my body. The embarassing thing though, is that I even have them on my hands...argh, but I'm not a guy!! My african american friend says she has little hairs even on her toes, but they're not as evident as mine! I use depilatory creams on my hands, but the problem is that I can't get rid of the little black [pores?] from which the hair grows...help please!!

Mammals have hair, everywhere, if it is a problem than work on changing your way of thinking so not to play to a social expectation.

Thank you...I really should stop obsessing about it. But like I said, I have DARK hair, so it does look pretty ugly. I guess I'm feeling this way because I have been teased about it by classmates and I've been through hell. Wish I could make those losers understand how bad they've made me feel....
thanks anyways :) !

hey, i have dark hair also and i hate it! i even shave the hair off my arms. anyway, my mom recently bought a little device called finishing touch... it's a battery hand held razor that shaves the hair off your fingers and your toes. i think it works well! but you should be comfortable with your body and you souldnt care what others think!

Regime...I also need a full body wax! Might keep me from looking like a monkey... :)
Christine, thank you for your reply. I really shouldn't "give a damn" about what others think, and be comfortable in my own skin...no matter what ;)

I completely understand the whole classmates teasing thing..I'm in college and I am just now figuring out that there are ways to remove the hair permanetly..though it's costly it's very worth it..I have dark hair and I was tired of dealing w/ the waxs and the creams and even shaving..after doing it for a while it starts to really hurt when you do it....so if I were you I'd look into seeing if anyone beauty places (alot of hair salons offer it) that offer lazor hair removal, or electralosis.

Permanent laser hair removal actually works best with dark hair, so in a way you are lucky. It is kind of expensive, but SO worth it on those areas that just drive you crazy.

I can completely understand and relate. :) I have large amounts of hair where I don't think it belongs. lol I'm constantly plucking (all creams and wax make me break out in little bumps or rashes) I have found that shaving is my best option until I can afford something more permanent. Anyone have any ideas how much lazer treatment runs?
Thanks

Thanks for the advice, I do want to look into permanent hair removal but like colorado girl said, it costs. In the meantime [till I find a job :) ], I use depilatory creams [I always buy like 3 at once!!]...have any of you heard of the creams that slow hair growth [I saw one by Johnsons] but am a little skeptic about it....
