I'm 26 years old and have been quite stressed lately with a lot of physical symptoms. Spacey feeling 24/7, tired, depressed, hypertension, aching everywhere, etc. So I got some blood tests done. All the docs I have seem attribute the symptoms to anxiety.

The normal bilirubin levels at my hospital's lab is 0.1 - 1.0. Mine was 1.2 (or 20 umol/L). The tests were routine and very limited. Here are the results (in SI)...

GLUCOSE: 5.9 (3.6 - 6.1)
CREATININE: 98 (62 - 124)
TOTAL BILIRUBIN: 20 (2 - 18)
ALKALINE PHOSPHATASE: 58 (30 - 117)
SODIUM: 141 (135 - 145)
POTASSIUM: 4.6 (3.5 - 5.0)
CHLORIDE: 107 (98 - 108)
ALT: 39 (10 - 40)
URINE PH: 8 (4.6 - 8)

Should I be worried about the slightly elevated bilirubin level, or is it just not high enough to warrant any concern? Can anxiety raise bilirubin levels?

My urine PH seems a tad high at 8 also.

As long as all your other tests are in the normal range, you should not have anything to worry about. ANd it is only slightly higher.
